Tianma Fiberglass Geogrid Mesh Fiberglass Grid Mesh For Pavement Reinforcement is a new product - just developed - that adopts a continuous coating of fiberglass as a new and ideal highway pavement reinforcement. It is characterized by high tensile strength in both axial and lateral direction, low stretch rate, high temperature-resistance, alkali-resistance, easy construction, and low price. It can be used on pitch pavement, bituminous concrete pavement, and cement pavement to prevent cracks and prolong pavement service life. It also can be used as basal reinforcement material on hillsides, reservoirs, harbors, ports, water channels, sea walls, etc. Specifications: Standard width 1.5 meter or up to 2 meters maximum Roll length is 50 or 100 meters Standard mesh size is 25mm (1") or 50mm (2"). Characteristics: High tensile strength: The ratio of strength/weight in fiberglass is higher than that of steel and its elastic modulus is higher (20:1) than that of asphalt cement, so the product has a enough strength to prevent from cracks arising. Low elongation coefficient: The stress and strain figure of the product has a high anti-reform function. Its elongation coefficient is less than 4% when it breaks. No long terms creeping effect: There is no creeping in fiberglass and therefore the product can be used for a long time. Fine compatibility with pavement materials: As it is treated with an organic coating, the product therefore has a fine compatibility with pavement materials. Any disadvantage of being non-anti-friction and non-folding are effectively improved when mixed with pavement materials. Good stability in high temperature: The elastic modulus of other materials, such as carbon fiber, kevlar, steel bar, polyester fiber, will be extended but can not prevent cracks arising while affected by temperature. It is the fiberglass, with its melting temperature of over 1000 degrees Celsius, that is not affected by 160 degrees Celsius hot asphalt, and therefore will give you the best results in pavement materials. Stability in physics and chemicals: This product, as its surface is treated with an organic material, can protect various corrosion in physical, chemicals, living things, as well as and climate changes. Its alkali-resistance function can remain 50% of 5%NaOH after soaking for 28 days. Interlocking function: When the asphalt pavement materials penetrate the product a compound interlocking system is formed which retards the movement of the asphalt cement and improves the density. Therefore the pavement can receive more loading with less deformation. So this product, like steel bars in cement, has a reinforcement function on the pavement. The product is usually used on new and old major roads. The material is paved between the base course and the top course, or between the top courses. It can effectively improve surface stress distribution, resist and retard the surface cracks arising from the base course cracks, and therefore the highway road service life is prolonged - and its construction cost is lowered compared to that of traditional roads and pavements.
