Chopped strand mat is made by spreading chopped roving around 50mm in length and bonded with powder binder or emulsion binder. The width can be 200-3200mm.
It is used primarily for hand lay up process, filament winding process and press molding of FRP products. The products is compatible with Polyester resin, Vinyl Ester resin, epoxy resin. It is widely used in car headliner, bathroom accessories, pipe, building materials, automotive, furniture and other FRP products. |
